UNINTENTIONAL BARRIERS OF COMMUNICATION

Sometimes in communication person do somethings that without his knowledge become a barrier in his communication.

                 1.  Lack of Enthusiasm:  Sometimes a speaker who is communicating with other is not passionate enough to communicate with everything he got. Which makes the communication very boring for listeners.
How to avoid this barrier: build up enthusiasm
      ·         Try your best to enjoy conversations and express your happy emotions with expressions full of enthusiasm.
      ·         Keep changing facial expression according to every different word.

2.  Verbal Static: Sometimes when people gets nervous they eventually use filler words while they speak such as um, a, like, uh, you know, these clutter words makes the connection of communication dull.
How to avoid this barrier: Eliminate these words by controlling your emotions, getting to point of message and avoid rambling, take a relaxing breath, hold the listener attention.

                   3.  Lack of eye connection:  many people are unable to make eye contact with listeners because they feel when they make eye contact they feel like losing their confidence. But when you are not directly looking at your listener the effectiveness of communication will be less.
How to avoid this barrier: keep your eyes on your audience and if you feel like losing confidence try to look at other individual and if there is only one listener then look on slide or notes every once you feel like.

                    4.  Using PowerPoint as crutch:  Many people use too many words in the slides which makes it harder for viewers to get most of the details from watching slides.
How to avoid this barrier: Use more visuals instead of words.
